Riley Migl: Some businesses are employee owned via stock. They have direct skin in the game thus, an incentive for the company to make profit and be successful. Workers can do that now by the Capitalistic rules of buying up stock. What you are suggesting is forced redistribution of business ownership. That is wrong. The same people that can redistribute that are the same ones that can come along, think you have too much stuff, take it and give it they think is more in need. It also ignores who has put the risk, sweat, experience, long hours and has dreams of becoming successful and wealt! hy from it. Who wants to do that, just to have it taken away from them? What is so wrong about what private (or any) corporations do? Private sector unionization has dropped to about 12%. The working community is more satisfied with what they get from business rather than needing some union to milk all they can from the company.
