what does "a quick quotation" mean?

Jene Licausi: Yes, they mean they would like you to get back to them as quickly as possible with a quotation for the work. In the circumstances this could be a rough quotation, perhaps giving a range within which your final fee will fall, e.g. "between £500 and £550". Strictly speaking, they should ask for a quick "estimate" rather than "quotation", as a quotation is supposed to be a set figure for the work to be carried out.
