Jerald Florence: Controlling the game?
Hal Rouse: Then go watch your precious Oregon Ducks and turn off the ballgame if you are too impatient to watch America's Pasttime.
Elinore Schlinker: Why do they take so much time? Because they can, unlike football there is no time watches in baseball! Some pitchers take longer than others, just like QB's!
Joaquin Dronko: IMO Walter Johnson (no pun intended) has the slowest pitching delivery. He has that giant arm windup giving the base runner plenty of time to snatch a base. Other players I feel who have a slow windup: Chris Young A.J. Burnett Paul Byrd Hideo Nomo Tim Wakefield (not his windup but lack of velocity) Bronson Arroyo (when no one is on base, has a high leg kick) Orlando Hernandez
Marcia Cheathan: i'm sorry you can't comprehend and anticipate what's going on in between pitches for baseball. clearly it isn't your sport to be watching. major league pitchers don't tell you how to do their job, i s! uggest you reciprocate.
Phillip Modafferi: Because they don't pitch again for at least five days so they want to feel like they are earning their huge paychecks by dragging out the game
Ester Bryand: They're focusing
Palmira Lochridge: They might be hoping that enough people will get bored, leave the game and never come back. Ultimately the pitchers want to bankrupt the league so they can sit at home and play the Wii. Soon enough we will see commercials between pitches.
Rosalba Lingner: Then the Oregon Ducks should join MLB and all your troubles will be over.Hope this helps.
