Can two computers be networked together...?

Bailey Lares: Yes, even if they have Linux and WIndows OS, can be networked together. For this you need a Cross-over cable and Network Card in your both computers. Antonia Mogg: both of XP and Vista r usin IP packets to transfer their data across the network. so u can transfer ur data between of 'em without any prob. . . if u had some other kind of OS like netware u had to use some bridge, but now u dont.
