Repairing a car door?

Donald Caravalho: I was thinking about taking it to the actual dealership (my car is a Hyundai so I was going to take it to the nearest Hyundai dealership). I just don't know it they would be able to repair it? or if I would have to take it to a body shop instead.

Delphine Cajka: no way to give an estimate without seeing it. but i can tell you that they should at least sand down and repair the dented area, re paint it and clear coat the ENTIRE door..if they do it well enough you won't even be able to tell. materials are not too expensive..most of your cost will be in labor.. should be under 500.00 if its not too bad..maybe 3 or 4 hours tops..but take it in for a free estimate..go to 3 shops to compare..

Stan Conley: I had a garage door come down on my car once & they repainted the entire hood that way it would match. They didn't have to take it off the car. I paid $400 cash. I suspect your car door would be similar in price. But many shops are different & you! won't really know until you get quotes. The labor to fix a dent could make it cost more. Some paints are more expensive than others.

Shaun Rapkowicz: In most cases it's best not to go to the dealer.Do some research and find a reputable body shop in your area

Clark Lachowski: Hi this is billy mays for Fix It Pro ! .. oh wait..

Venetta Coulbourne: the whole door and probably about 300
