Why does car insurance suck for a 19 year old guy in Ny.?

Age/gender/location/and least the type of auto being insured.Your driving time (even tho over a year and no accidents or tickets) is still considered a "warm" drivers licence, and statisically Male,under the age of 25, and rookie drivers NO MATTER how responsible they are, are still more likely to be in an accident.Some if it is justified, while some of it is B/S... IF you make good grades in school, you can pressure your company for a reduction. If they don't give you one, then go find another company that will.I have been driving for 20 years, CDL Class A since 1995.and even with a family, insurance is outrageous....Show more
